If you are interested in having your horse trained in dressage or in the hunter/jumper disciplines, and/or you want to learn how to become a better rider, then Burlington Farm is the place for you to board!
We offer large 12 x12 or 12 x 10 rubber matted stalls, daily turnout in safe, grassy fields, and twice daily feedings of grain and top quality hay of your choice.
Three tack rooms are available as well as multiple grooming stalls and both indoor and outdoor wash areas.
In the summer there are fans overhead (in the Main Barn) and individual stall fans to keep your horse cool and comfortable.
With a spacious, well lit, indoor arena and two outdoor arenas (one a regulation size dressage arena), there are plenty of places to ride and train. Both the indoor arena and the outdoor jumping arena have Surefoot Rubber Footing mixed with sand.
All three arenas are dragged every day (weather permitting) using our six foot wide Parma Arena Groomer. Parma Arena Groomers have been proven in arenas and tracks all over the USA for all events that require good footing. The ability of this arena groomer to prepare the footing as well as condition the top surface in one pass can improve the performance of the horses that use the arenas and save stress on horse's legs at the same time.
The Burlington Farm staff is highly experienced and both grooms and managers live on premises. They perform daily evening barn checks 365 days a year.
In addition to the barn checks, the farm has a 24-hour video surveillance system that is monitored from the main house and accessible from three different computers. This system shows live feeds from six different cameras (starting with large display and going clockwise) the Main Barn, the Dressage Arena, the Outdoor Jump Arena, the back of the Main House, and the area in front of the Bank Barn and the Indoor Arena (see screen capture below).
If you want to show your horse, Burlington Farm is within walking/riding distance of The East Freehold Showgrounds (see aerial photo below). Burlington Farm is located at the Red Balloon with "A" on it. East Freehold Showgrounds are located at the bottom of the photo on the left, about one half mile from the farm. The Monmouth County Horse Show Association, The Central Jersey Horseman's Association, and CJL Farms hold shows there in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Horse Park of New Jersey also offers both hunter/jumper and dressage shows and their showgrounds are about twenty-five minutes away.
